INDIVIDUAL THERAPY IN VERMONT & CALIFORNIA
Develop greater self-trust, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience.
You’ve done a lot of work already.
Maybe you’re on a spiritual path, or you’ve grown through a healing recovery community. You’ve been in therapy before and have some insight. But you feel stuck somewhere - still repeating the same frustrating relationship patterns, still feeling blocked and unfulfilled in some area of life, knowing there’s more yet to unfold but lost in how to get there.
You know there's more waiting for you. A life with more ease, freedom, and connection.
But you haven't yet found the relationship or the space that allows every part of you to be experienced with enough safety and compassion such that real transformation can unfold. Someone who holds a map to guide the journey and a lamp to cast light into the dark of those caves.
Ultimately that is how I conceive of my role in a therapeutic relationship: I bring my own capacity for regulation, attunement and intuitive knowing to walk alongside you. I strive to co-create a space of safety for all beings.
My role isn't to tell you who to become.
It's to walk beside you.
To hold the map when the path feels unclear.
To carry the lantern when shadows obscure the way.
To bring my capacity for regulation and intuitive knowing so that together we can gently explore parts of your experience with curiosity rather than judgment.
To help you see what you cannot see on your own, without the reflection of an attuned other.

Together our work may help you:
Feel safer in your own body
Trust yourself more deeply
Move through anxiety with greater steadiness
Develop more fulfilling relationships
Respond instead of react
Experience greater self-compassion
Live with more freedom, authenticity, and connection
A lifetime of learning.
For nearly twenty-five years I've been asking one guiding question:
What actually allows a human being to heal?
That question has led me through extensive clinical training in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Focused EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
It has also led me beyond traditional psychotherapy into earth-based healing traditions, indigenous wisdom, astrology, the Enneagram, and African diaspora folkloric dance rooted in Spirit.
I don't see these worlds as separate.
I bring all of who I am to this work, creating space for you to bring all of who you are.

Weekly sessions create the strongest foundation for meaningful change, especially early in our work together as trust develops and we begin understanding your patterns more deeply.
If finances are a concern, we'll have an honest conversation about what feels sustainable and create a plan that allows us to make the most of our time together. As therapy progresses, we may decide together that meeting every other week is appropriate.

I do not. I can provide a statement to submit to your insurance for reimbursement however this varies plan to plan. I always suggest that you inform yourself about what your deductible is and what the reimbursement rate is for out of network providers.

Yes, I do. I have worked with many clients at many stages of life who identify as non-neurotypical, whether they’ve received a diagnosis or not. This ranges from ADHD to the very wide spectrum of ways that autism shows up and impacts one’s relationship to themselves and to others.

Absolutely. I work with many individuals and couples who identify as LGBTQ+ and have unique lived experiences related to those identities. And, as we know there is more diversity within a group than between groups, which necessitates a stance of openness and curiosity about each person’s singular experience. That being said, I believe in queerness as a liberatory ideology that frees us all. I love this quote by bell hooks: “ ‘Queer’ as not being about who you're having sex with, that can be a dimension of it, but ‘queer’ as being about the self that is at odds with everything around it, and has to invent and create and find a place to speak and to thrive and to live.”

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. If, after meeting together, you decide I'm not the right fit, I fully support that. I'll gladly share referrals and resources that may better meet your needs. My hope is always that you find the support that feels right for you.
